Mr. Green closes his beloved bookshop after 40 years, leaving a lasting impression.
There was an old bookshop at the end of our street. The owner, Mr. Green, had been running it for forty years. He knew every book in the shop and could recommend the perfect one for anyone. Last month, Mr. Green announced he was closing the shop. Many people came to say goodbye and buy their last books. I bought a novel I had been wanting to read for years. Mr. Green signed it for me and wrote, "Books are friends we haven't met yet." I will never forget that shop.
