Sam finds a lost puppy and, when no owner appears, adopts him and names him Lucky.
One evening, Sam was walking home from school when he heard a sad sound. It was a small puppy, sitting alone under a tree. It looked cold and hungry. Sam sat down and talked to it softly. The puppy came to him and licked his hand. Sam took off his jacket and wrapped it around the puppy. He carried it home. His parents said he could keep it if he found the owner. For a week, they put up posters. Nobody came. So the puppy stayed, and Sam named him Lucky.

یک شب، سام وقتی از مدرسه به خونه می‌رفت یه صدای غمگین شنید. یه توله‌سگ کوچیک بود که تنها زیر یه درخت نشسته بود. سرد و گرسنه به نظر می‌رسید. سام نشست و آروم باهاش حرف زد. توله‌سگ اومد پیشش و دستش رو لیسید. سام کتش رو درآورد و دور توله‌سگ پیچید. اون رو به خونه برد. پدر و مادرش گفتن اگه صاحبش رو پیدا کنه می‌تونه نگهش داره. یه هفته پوستر گذاشتن. هیچ‌کس نیومد. پس توله‌سگ موند و سام اسمش رو گذاشت «لاکی».
