Anna had been looking for a job for months. After dozens of applications, she finally received a call for an interview at a marketing company. She prepared for a week, researching the company and practicing answers to common questions. On the day of the interview, she arrived twenty minutes early. Her hands were shaking as she walked into the office. The interviewer asked her about her experience and her weaknesses. Anna answered honestly, admitting she had no experience with some software programs. She thought she had failed. Two days later, the company called her back. They offered her the job because, as they said, honesty mattered more than experience.
