A young girl races against the sunset to deliver an important letter for the mayor.
Mina was twelve years old and faster than anyone in her neighborhood on a bicycle. Her father had a small shop, and every afternoon she delivered packages for him. One windy day, the mayor asked her to deliver an important letter to the town hall before sunset. It was a long ride across the hills. Mina packed the letter carefully in her bag and rode fast. The wind pushed against her, but she did not stop. Halfway there, she saw a dog crossing the road and slowed down. The letter stayed safe. When she reached the town hall, the sun was low and red. She ran inside and handed the letter to the mayor. He opened it and smiled. "You saved the day, young lady," he said. He gave her a shiny coin and a cup of hot tea. Mina rode home proud. That night, her father hugged her and said, "You are my favorite messenger." Mina smiled. She already knew that.
